Elm City Small Press Fest is a community event that focuses on independent publishing in the Maine region. The event highlights contemporary print and publishing culture while activating conversations around creative labor and commerce as viable artistic practices. The goal of the fest is to inform attendees of contemporary creative publishing while stimulating and promoting creative economies in the area. 

The Elm City Small Press Fest is free and open to the public. The event takes place at the Greene Block + Studios which is an ADA-compliant building in downtown Waterville. 

Families, individuals, students, professionals - all are welcome to attend. Please note, there may be some mature material being represented. 

The exhibition day takes place on Saturday Nov. 20th from 11am-5pm and is free and open to the public. Shop zines, independent publications and art prints or stop by for workshop programming throughout the day.

To ensure the health and safety of all, please follow these guidelines while visiting Colby’s Greene Block + Studios at 18 Main St:

• If you or a person from your household has or has had cold or flu-like symptoms, please refrain from visiting until everyone is well and has completed a medically recommended quarantine period.
• Masks are required for all guests 5 and older, regardless of vaccination status. If you need a mask, please ask when you arrive.
• Please maintain a safe social distance from anyone outside of your household throughout your visit.
• Please use hand sanitizer upon entering or wash your hands in the lobby restroom.
